Tesla is seeking a Cell Reliability Engineer to join their Fleet Analytics team in Palo Alto. Responsibilities For Cell Reliability Engineer, Fleet Analytics
- Create models using both lab and fleet data to evaluate lithium-ion battery performance
- Develop standard and accelerated test protocols based on expected field scenarios
- Interpret electrochemical, mechanical and lab test data to forecast cell product field reliability
- Collaborate on failure analysis to understand root cause and drive mitigation actions
Requirements For Cell Reliability Engineer, Fleet Analytics
- Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electric Engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of lithium-ion cell chemistry and degradation mechanism
- Strong Programming skills and experience in Python
- Experience on statistical analysis preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
