Responsibilities For Cell Test Engineer, Cell Qualification
- Be a key member of a cross functional team to optimize lithium-ion battery performance and lifetime
- Execute coin cell performance testing, coordinate and monitor full-cell testing
- Perform cell teardowns, document testing status and communicate timelines and results
- Interpret results and propose testing to quantify degradation modes of various battery chemistries
Requirements For Cell Test Engineer, Cell Qualification
- Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or equivalent experience
- A drive to execute testing and a passion for optimization
- Familiar with degradation mechanisms of batteries and battery materials
- Familiar with chemical, electrochemical, and lifetime testing techniques for battery materials
- Ability to learn new concepts and methods, propose design of experiments, and execute independently
- Some coding experience preferred (i.e. MATLAB, Python, and/or similar data analysis tool)
