Responsibilities For CNC Programmer & Mechanical Engineering Technician

  • Mechanical build and assembly of precision test equipment
  • Cut various materials, build tooling, set fixtures, prove and run programs, deburr and finish parts
  • Program, setup, run and maintain 3-axis vertical CNC Mill
  • Work closely with engineers to provide input on design for machining and assembly
  • Machine complex components to tight tolerances
  • Use various inspection and measurement tools to validate work
  • Tracking and documentation of machining processes and results
  • Perform assignments in accordance with EH&S and security policies

Requirements For CNC Programmer & Mechanical Engineering Technician

  • 5+ years of experience building industrial equipment machinery or similar experience
  • Ability to follow mechanical drawings and assemble fixtures
  • 3+ years of CNC mill programming experience
  • CAM programming with SolidWorks and Autodesk Fusion experience
  • 3D CAD experience/knowledge, preferably SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings, documents and GD&T
  • Experience with measurement and inspection tools
  • Ability to work in fast paced, evolving environment
