Responsibilities For CNC Programmer & Mechanical Engineering Technician
- Mechanical build and assembly of precision test equipment
- Cut various materials, build tooling, set fixtures, prove and run programs, deburr and finish parts
- Program, setup, run and maintain 3-axis vertical CNC Mill
- Work closely with engineers to provide input on design for machining and assembly
- Machine complex components to tight tolerances
- Use various inspection and measurement tools to validate work
- Tracking and documentation of machining processes and results
- Perform assignments in accordance with EH&S and security policies
Requirements For CNC Programmer & Mechanical Engineering Technician
- 5+ years of experience building industrial equipment machinery or similar experience
- Ability to follow mechanical drawings and assemble fixtures
- 3+ years of CNC mill programming experience
- CAM programming with SolidWorks and Autodesk Fusion experience
- 3D CAD experience/knowledge, preferably SolidWorks
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, documents and GD&T
- Experience with measurement and inspection tools
- Ability to work in fast paced, evolving environment
