Responsibilities For Component Test Engineer, Reliability & Test

  • Conduct hands-on component and system level R&D: characterization, reliability, and durability testing
  • Work with reliability and design engineers to support Design Validation Plan development
  • Develop test fixtures using CAD
  • Conduct detailed inspections to identify and root cause failures
  • Write necessary scripts to automate testing
  • Conduct data acquisition and instrumentation of sensors
  • Investigate test failures and create detailed test reports
  • Work with test technicians, instrumentation, CAE, reliability and design teams
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements For Component Test Engineer, Reliability & Test

Python
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong engineering fundamentals
  • Test experience from school projects, internships, or other relevant experience
  • Experience with sensors and data acquisition systems
  • Experience with CAD and fixture design
  • Experience with programming and test automation
  • Experience debugging and troubleshooting technical problems
