Responsibilities For Data Engineer & Analytics, Self-Driving

  • Write fleet queries and Python scripts to source new datasets
  • Create metrics to analyze performance of Self-Driving and specific driving events
  • Visualize data and metrics using tools like Grafana
  • Create Spark jobs to support data pipelines with appropriate alerting
  • Manage inflow rate and volume of fleet data
  • Iterate with AI engineering partners on effectiveness of new datasets
  • Build automation and tools to make workflows maximally efficient

Requirements For Data Engineer & Analytics, Self-Driving

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math or proof of exceptional skills in related field
  • Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL (PostgreSQL), MATLAB, R
  • Experience with Spark, Caspian, JavaScript, Grafana, and/or OpenSearch is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment with high ambiguity; self-starter mentality
