Responsibilities For Diagnostic Engineer, Powertrain

  • Develop, validate, monitor, and maintain software tools for drivetrain systems diagnostics and repair
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve drivetrain-related issues
  • Define and implement on-board diagnostic methodologies and alerts
  • Develop troubleshooting and remote diagnosis techniques
  • Conduct large-scale data analyses for drivetrain-related issues
  • Review user experience issues and escalate to development teams
  • Propose product improvements to Drivetrain Hardware and Software Development teams

Requirements For Diagnostic Engineer, Powertrain

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in powertrain engineering, diagnostics, or related field
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python
  • Experience with vehicle data analysis
  • Knowledge of drivetrain technologies, including inverters and motors
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, UDS, OBD-II)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
