The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in electrical panel assembly and manufacturing, with strong knowledge of electrical systems and ability to work with high voltage systems up to 480VAC. Responsibilities For Electrical Engineering Technician
- Modifying enclosures and subpanels preparation
- Kitting components and wiring control panels per UL508A
- Building wire and cable harnesses and installing end connections
- Generating wire, cable, and device labels from engineering files
- Assembling electromechanical subassemblies
- Performing field wiring of control devices
- Running and testing network/IO cables
- Assembling and plumbing pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Maintaining and managing tools/consumables
- Delivering high quality work and upholding craftsmanship standards
Requirements For Electrical Engineering Technician
- 2+ years experience assembling and manufacturing electrical panels
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics and wiring electrical control panels
- Experience installing, wiring, and plumbing common control devices
- Working knowledge of electrical systems theory with HV systems up to 480VAC
- Hands-on fabrication experience using hand or machines tools
- Ability to spot errors in design/build phase
- Able to perform physically demanding work under pressure
