Responsibilities For Electrical Engineering Technician

  • Modifying enclosures and subpanels preparation
  • Kitting components and wiring control panels per UL508A
  • Building wire and cable harnesses and installing end connections
  • Generating wire, cable, and device labels from engineering files
  • Assembling electromechanical subassemblies
  • Performing field wiring of control devices
  • Running and testing network/IO cables
  • Assembling and plumbing pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Maintaining and managing tools/consumables
  • Delivering high quality work and upholding craftsmanship standards

Requirements For Electrical Engineering Technician

  • 2+ years experience assembling and manufacturing electrical panels
  • Proficient in reading electrical schematics and wiring electrical control panels
  • Experience installing, wiring, and plumbing common control devices
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems theory with HV systems up to 480VAC
  • Hands-on fabrication experience using hand or machines tools
  • Ability to spot errors in design/build phase
  • Able to perform physically demanding work under pressure
