Tesla's San Diego facility is seeking an Electrode Manufacturing Technician to join their innovative electric vehicle and energy storage products team. This role is crucial in supporting the production of high-quality electrodes for Tesla's cutting-edge electric vehicles and energy storage solutions.

Responsibilities For Electrode Technician, In House Cell Engineering

  • Support electrode production through manufacturing processes, material handling, equipment operation, and quality control
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment
  • Work to achieve production targets and maintain safe working environment
  • Participate in training and development programs
  • Work overtime and Saturdays as needed
  • Maintain clean and organized workspace following 5S principles

Requirements For Electrode Technician, In House Cell Engineering

  • 2+ years of manufacturing environment experience
  • Proven track record of being trustworthy and team-oriented
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
  • Certification in IPC or Six Sigma (preferred)
  • Ability to wear Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR)
  • Physical capability to perform tasks while wearing PPE
