Responsibilities For Electronic Design Engineer, New Programs Engineering

  • Ownership of harness designs for prototype and early phase vehicle programs
  • Document build/rework instructions for complex vehicle wire harnesses
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new electrical subsystems
  • Support firmware and technician teams debugging electrical systems
  • Design PCB hardware to support integration of electrical subsystems

Requirements For Electronic Design Engineer, New Programs Engineering

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a product development environment
  • Expertise in Automotive communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
  • Wire harness design and build experience
  • Fundamental understanding of PCB design and experience with PCB design software
  • Knowledge in designing for environmental constraints
  • Detail-oriented personality with effective documentation
  • Excellent communicator with time management skills
