Responsibilities For Embedded Security Engineer, Vehicle Software

  • Design and implement security features in embedded software systems
  • Contribute to technical requirements, architecture, and interface design documents
  • Design and develop real-time embedded firmware and embedded Linux software
  • Develop and lead execution of test strategies and test plans
  • Agree on product-level requirements/goals with the Product team
  • Threat Model and design security controls & mitigations
  • Develop Software Security Architecture for the entire system
  • Drive execution across contributing components

Requirements For Embedded Security Engineer, Vehicle Software

Linux
  • Proven record of designing and delivering software security systems for internet-connected embedded devices
  • Experience incorporating hardware-based security techniques
  • Sound knowledge of Cryptography fundamentals and Public Key Infrastructure
  • Experience creating technical specifications and architecture documents
  • System-level (kernel/bootloader) software development experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
