Responsibilities For Engineering Launch Manager, Semi

  • Manage a team of Engineers and Technicians for equipment and process engineering
  • Drive improvement in overall equipment efficiency and factory yield
  • Ensure teams' safety training and EHS compliance
  • Define expectations for engineering team performance
  • Drive improvement activities from inception through closure
  • Innovate processes and procedures to streamline production
  • Maintain 5S standards and cleanliness
  • Provide support for new equipment installation and startup
  • Improve preventative maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Controls teams

Requirements For Engineering Launch Manager, Semi

  • Must understand general manufacturing processes, automation, and controls
  • Must demonstrate reliability, initiative, and desire to learn
  • Must be adaptable in work schedule (including compressed work week and night shift)
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and prioritization
  • Capable of providing constructive feedback to subordinates
  • Able to drive engineering problems to true root cause and elimination
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
