Responsibilities For Engineering Technician, Battery Electronics

  • Perform non-destructive failure analysis on PCBAs
  • Utilize specialized equipment to determine root cause of failing PCBAs
  • Analyze CAN logs and vehicle history
  • Conduct advanced soldering and rework tasks
  • Build and validate custom wiring harnesses and PCBA test setups
  • Develop and maintain test procedures documentation
  • Follow and refine standard operating procedures
  • Coordinate and track PCBA shipments from global locations

Requirements For Engineering Technician, Battery Electronics

  • High awareness of safety hazards and procedures with High Voltage systems
  • Experience with testing and validation of electronic components and PCBAs
  • Experience with benchtop electronics equipment
  • Experience with failure analysis and root cause investigation
  • Knowledge of MS Office software
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • 2+ years of experience in a lab/shop setting
  • Strong foundation in electronics and testing
