Responsibilities For Engineering Technician, Cell Engineering
- Build test cells such as coin cells and pouch cells and start tests on electronic equipment
- Dissect battery cells to make measurements and harvest the components
- Keep accurate records of the dissection and cell builds in an organized and timely manner
- Help with manual tasks around the lab including cleaning cell parts, organizing lab benches and supplies
- Monitor and document testing status, communicate issues, and help find solutions
Requirements For Engineering Technician, Cell Engineering
- Above average manual dexterity and visual acuity for delicate assembly tasks
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures with high accuracy
- Working knowledge of Windows and MS Office
- Good communication skills and high attention to detail
- Experience working with hazardous chemicals
- Experience with air-sensitive materials and/or battery materials (preferred)
- Experience using glove box and/or battery cyclers (preferred)
