Responsibilities For Engineering Technician, Hardware Test Engineering, Seats

  • Utilize various tools including calipers, digital multimeters, force gauges, torque wrenches, and DAQs
  • Solder, crimp, and read wiring diagrams for electrical testing and troubleshooting
  • Execute tests, including setup, teardown, inspections, maintenance, and retrofits
  • Assemble and prepare test fixtures and support structures
  • Document and report issues identified during tests
  • Support engineers with instrumentation and data acquisition
  • Fabricate test equipment and fixtures using power tools
  • Perform seat teardowns and inspections
