Responsibilities For Engineering Technician, High Voltage Components, Vehicle Hardware Test

  • Conduct visual and functional inspections of high voltage systems
  • Perform detailed inspections of test fixtures, equipment, and prototypes
  • Collaborate with Test Engineers to develop and execute test plans
  • Provide documentation of test results and inspection findings
  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
  • Optimize parts and logistics management
  • Maintain lab organization and safety standards
  • Design, fabricate, and modify test fixtures and equipment
  • Assemble, test, and analyze engineering prototypes
  • Support test engineers with physical tasks for reliability testing

Requirements For Engineering Technician, High Voltage Components, Vehicle Hardware Test

Python
  • Extensive practical experience in engineering principles and practices
  • High Voltage training or demonstrated working knowledge of high voltage DC systems
  • Proficient in mechanical fabrication and machine shop operations
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong understanding of physics and engineering fundamentals
  • Experience with standard electronic lab tools
  • Experience with wiring harness design and fabrication
  • Experience with Python or similar coding programs
  • Excellent documentation and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
