Responsibilities For Engineering Technician, High Voltage Components, Vehicle Hardware Test
- Conduct visual and functional inspections of high voltage systems
- Perform detailed inspections of test fixtures, equipment, and prototypes
- Collaborate with Test Engineers to develop and execute test plans
- Provide documentation of test results and findings
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
- Optimize parts and logistics management
- Maintain organization and safety in the lab
- Design, fabricate, and modify test fixtures and equipment
- Assemble, test, and analyze engineering prototypes
- Support test engineers with physical tasks
Requirements For Engineering Technician, High Voltage Components, Vehicle Hardware Test
- Extensive practical experience in a similar role
- High Voltage training or demonstrated working knowledge of high voltage DC systems
- Proficient in mechanical fabrication and machine shop operations
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong understanding of physics and engineering fundamentals
- Familiarity with standard electronic lab tools
- Experience with wiring harness design and fabrication
- Experience with Python or similar coding programs
- Excellent documentation and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
