Tesla's Drive Inverter test team is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the development and testing of high voltage systems for their innovative electric vehicles.   • Conduct visual and functional inspections of high voltage systems
  • Perform detailed inspections of test fixtures, equipment, and prototypes
  • Collaborate with Test Engineers to develop and execute test plans
  • Provide documentation of test results and findings
  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
  • Optimize parts and logistics management

Python
  • Extensive practical experience in a similar role
  • High Voltage training or demonstrated working knowledge of high voltage DC systems
  • Proficient in mechanical fabrication and machine shop operations
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong understanding of physics and engineering fundamentals
  • Familiarity with standard electronic lab tools
  • Experience with wiring harness design and fabrication
  • Experience with Python or similar coding programs
