Tesla's Dojo supercomputing team is seeking a skilled PCBA Technician to join their hardware engineering department. Responsibilities For Engineering Technician, PCB Rework, Hardware Engineering
- Collaborate with electrical engineers in design, development, and testing of electrical systems
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and improvements
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using diagnostic equipment
- Develop and implement test procedures for industry compliance
- Install, commission, and maintain electrical systems
- Build and specify electrical components for low and high-voltage circuits
- Repair and maintain PCBs and electronic components
Requirements For Engineering Technician, PCB Rework, Hardware Engineering
- Strong understanding of Ohms law and circuit analysis
- Experience with electrical testing and measurement equipment
- Experience constructing circuits using a breadboard
- Ability to use hand tools following industry standards
- 2-5 years of experience as an electrical engineering technician
- Experience with C++, Python, or Arduino
- Familiarity with electrical circuit simulation software
- Knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded systems
- Understanding of OSI model and optical transceivers
