Responsibilities For Engineering Technician, Semi Truck, High Voltage Battery Test
- Conduct visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections of battery packs
- Install and instrument battery packs into environmental chambers
- Collaborate with test engineers to develop and execute test plans
- Provide documentation of test results and inspection findings
- Maintain lab organization and safety standards
- Design, fabricate, and modify test fixtures and equipment
- Support lab expansion and testing activities
Requirements For Engineering Technician, Semi Truck, High Voltage Battery Test
- Extensive practical experience in engineering principles
- High Voltage training and knowledge of DC systems
- Proficient in mechanical fabrication
- Experience with electronics lab tools
- Experience with wiring harness design and fabrication
- Strong understanding of physics and engineering fundamentals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Jira, and Confluence
- Experience with CAD software and Python
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
