Responsibilities For Engineering Technician, Vehicle Closure Components

  • Execute tests: setup, perform inspections, conduct maintenance, and retrofits
  • Document and report issues identified during tests or inspections
  • Collaborate with Engineers to resolve mechanical & electrical issues
  • Support Engineers in instrumentation and data acquisition
  • Assist and learn from other Technicians and Engineers
  • Assemble & wire test fixtures

Requirements For Engineering Technician, Vehicle Closure Components

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Attention to details with strong organization skills
  • Analytical problem-solving skills
  • Basic experience with MS office tools
  • Experience with measurement tools
  • Experience with fabrication equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems
  • Understanding of Ohms law, Kirchhoff's laws
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, and CAN communication
  • Experience working with low voltage components
