The Field Reliability Engineering team at Tesla is responsible for improving customer experience of Tesla products by reducing field issues, in collaboration with various Engineering teams. As a Field Reliability Engineer for Low Voltage systems, you will be a highly hands-on individual contributor, responsible for one or more vehicle systems or components across all automotive products. Your role will encompass data analysis, hands-on failure analysis, and driving containment actions.

This role requires a diverse skill set, including experience in failure analysis, reliability, systems architecture, or related electro-mechanical systems. A background in electronics or automotive (with an electrical engineering focus) is preferred. You should have hands-on experience in debugging and testing electrical systems, including wire harnesses, components, ECUs, and embedded systems.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with attention to detail and analytical thinking. Proficiency in programming languages like Python and familiarity with UNIX is required. You should also have experience applying statistical methods in data analysis.
