Responsibilities For Internship, AI Engineer, Self-Driving (Winter/Spring 2025)
- Applied research in Foundation Models, computer vision, large language models and generative modeling
- Work on cutting-edge AI techniques including multi-task learning and reinforcement learning
- Implement novel AI tooling for efficient training of large-scale models
- Leverage millions of miles of driving data for self-driving system development
- Collaborate with team to apply research findings to real-world challenges
- Experiment with data generation and network driven data collection
- Ship production quality, safety-critical software to Tesla's vehicle fleet
Requirements For Internship, AI Engineer, Self-Driving (Winter/Spring 2025)
- Demonstrated experience in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, GPT, CNNs)
- Strong experience with Python and software engineering best practices
- Experience with imitation learning, reinforcement learning, or modern neural network architectures
- Deep understanding of deep learning fundamentals
- Experience with sparse training techniques and neural network pruning
- Experience with training large models on distributed computing
- Ability to work on complex problems and produce significant research
