Responsibilities For Internship, Analysis Engineer, Vehicle & Powertrain Engineering (Summer 2025)

  • Work on projects supporting the design and production of current & future products
  • Use CAE simulation tools to develop vehicle structure, crash safety, durability, fatigue, and battery safety performance
  • Develop new methods to improve simulation tools
  • Work with Design Engineering teams to analyze future designs performance
  • Work with Test Engineering teams to develop tests and correlate simulation models
  • Build models calibrated by test data
  • Analyze test data and create clear data forward reports
  • Participate in discussions with component designers to provide detailed feedback

Requirements For Internship, Analysis Engineer, Vehicle & Powertrain Engineering (Summer 2025)

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Completion of statics, dynamics, and materials science undergraduate courses
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Interest in analytical and numerical techniques
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) & Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
  • Experience with analysis software preferred
  • Scripting experience preferred
