Internship, Android Engineer, Mobile Software (Summer 2025)

Tesla is offering an exciting Summer 2025 internship opportunity for Android Engineers to join their Mobile Applications Engineering team. This role is perfect for passionate students who want to make a real impact in the automotive and technology industry.

The position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area (Palo Alto) and requires a full-time, in-person commitment for a minimum of 12 weeks during Summer 2025. As an intern, you'll be working on Tesla's best-in-class mobile app, which includes cutting-edge features such as smart summon, climate controls, keyless entry, and sentry mode.

The ideal candidate should be pursuing a Computer Science degree or related field, graduating between 2025-2026, with strong fundamentals in computer science and mobile development. Experience with Kotlin and React/React Native is particularly valuable for this role.

Tesla's internship program is designed to provide meaningful experience through ownership of critical projects. You'll work closely with a cross-functional team of hardware engineers, software engineers, QA specialists, and designers, giving you exposure to various aspects of mobile app development at a leading tech company.

The compensation package is competitive, ranging from $75,005 to $105,000 annually (pro-rated for internship duration), plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with $0 payroll deduction options, 401(k), and various other perks.
