Internship, Engineer, Cell Manufacturing (Summer 2025)

Tesla is seeking talented engineering interns for their Cell Manufacturing division, focusing on the innovative 4680 Cells production. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge battery technology in a fast-paced, world-class manufacturing environment. The role spans across multiple critical areas including Cell Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Industrial Engineering. Interns will contribute to process improvements, equipment development, and production optimization while working alongside experienced engineers.

The position requires full-time, on-site commitment for a minimum of 12 weeks during Summer 2025, with potential extension into Fall 2025. Interns will be immersed in hands-on experience with state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, from powder processing to final cell assembly. The role offers exposure to various aspects of battery production, including design, testing, validation, and implementation of manufacturing equipment.
