Internship, Integration Engineer Chassis Systems, Vehicle Firmware (Summer 2025)

Tesla is offering an exciting internship opportunity for Summer 2025 in their Chassis Systems team, focusing on vehicle firmware integration. The position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and requires full-time, on-site work for a minimum of 12 weeks. As an Integration Engineer intern, you'll be working with a diverse team of software engineers, mechatronics engineers, and vehicle dynamics engineers on safety-critical software and embedded systems.

Your responsibilities will include debugging software-PCBA-actuator systems, developing embedded C prototypes, and creating tests for production chassis software. This hands-on role offers real-world experience in automotive software development and system integration.

The ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering, with graduation expected between August 2025-August 2026. Strong fundamentals in embedded C programming and electrical engineering are essential, while experience with PCBA design, vehicle networking protocols, and Python programming is highly valued.
