Tesla, the world's leading electric vehicle and clean energy company, is seeking a Quality Engineer Manufacturing Intern for Summer 2025. This exciting opportunity allows students to join Tesla's Quality Engineering Team, where they'll play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality products through continuous improvement of processes and systems.

The internship, lasting a minimum of 12 weeks, offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.   • Monitor manufacturing processes and create/monitor quality data systems
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement best practices
  • Perform design engineering analysis and review engineering documentation
  • Capture and document root cause analysis
  • Contain defective products through problem definition and resolution tracking
  • Review, develop, and implement revised/new processes using Six Sigma/Lean manufacturing
  • Work cross-functionally with teams to achieve quality standards
  • Ensure standards and specification through Control Plans and Inspection Standards
  • Coordinate Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA's) and product design specifications

Requirements For Internship, Quality Engineer, Manufacturing (Summer 2025)

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Prior internship experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
  • Strong verbal/written communication and computer skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to multi-task effectively within a team environment
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site
  • Minimum commitment of 12 weeks, full-time
