Tesla is offering an exciting Security Engineering Internship opportunity for Winter/Spring 2025. This internship is part of Tesla's year-round program that places top students in positions where they can grow both technically and personally. Interns work closely with their Manager, Mentor, and team on critical projects.
The internship spans across multiple teams:
Security Intelligence: Protecting Tesla's intellectual property and trade secrets from insider threats. Interns may build new tools, develop detection alerts, and support digital forensics and investigations.
Threat Research: Identifying and tracking external threats targeting Tesla and the industry. Interns might collect and analyze threat information, study attacker tools, and conduct technical investigations into notable attacks.
Security Engineering: Managing and deploying enterprise security systems across Tesla's diverse facilities. This includes securing manufacturing, retail, and corporate environments, as well as working with development teams to ensure application security.
Interns are expected to work full-time (40 hours/week) for a minimum of 12 weeks, starting around January and continuing through April/May. The internship is in-person and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
