Responsibilities For IoT Systems Engineer, Materials Manufacturing & Commercial Energy Storage

  • Lead deployment and operation of server infrastructure at North America Commercial Energy sites
  • Work with North America OT team and worldwide OT team on global impact designs
  • Function as Tier 2-3 escalation point for internal teams and external clients
  • Gather requirements, analyze, and propose solutions to server needs
  • Provision, implement, test/validate, and maintain services
  • Conduct product POC evaluations and contribute to designs
  • Create documentation and implement automation
  • Meet critical infrastructure security requirements globally
  • 15% travel required as necessary

Requirements For IoT Systems Engineer, Materials Manufacturing & Commercial Energy Storage

  • 5+ years experience managing virtual servers in production industrial environment
  • Experience with VMware virtualization solutions
  • Experience with Windows Server, SQL Server, Veeam, Active Directory, Linux
  • Experience with high-uptime Operational Technology environments
  • Experience with automation using PowerCLI, PowerShell, Python, Ansible
  • Experience with multi-vendor industrial switching technologies
  • Experience with IP networking and firewalling
  • Experience with industrial security frameworks
  • Capable of lifting common field and rack mount server hardware
  • Able to work in industrial environments requiring PPE
