Responsibilities For Low Voltage Engineering Technician

  • Work with engineers to install low voltage (12v) electronics and infotainment
  • Trial components in vehicles via soldering and wiring
  • Root cause and report issues from tests and inspections
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve mechanical & electrical issues
  • Provide detailed written & verbal test status updates
  • Support engineering teams in instrumentation and data acquisition setup and logging

Requirements For Low Voltage Engineering Technician

  • Experience as an Engineering Technician or 3+ years as a Service or Manufacturing technician
  • Solid understanding of Audio/Stereo or Low Voltage systems installation
  • 2 year technical/automotive degree preferred
  • Familiar with soldering iron/tweezers, hot air, hand tools and power tools
  • Knowledge of machine shop practices
  • Analytical problem solving skills & root cause analysis
  • Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience with MS office tools
  • Flexibility to work long hours and weekends when required
