Tesla is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to join their Power Electronics & Energy Storage manufacturing team. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, increase product performance, and enhance manufacturing productivity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with engineers to develop, test, and validate new manufacturing processes and equipment
- Installing, qualifying, and validating new equipment to meet quality and manufacturing standards
- Analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to boost productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality
- Creating and maintaining accurate process documentation
- Troubleshooting manufacturing process issues and implementing corrective actions
- Training and supporting manufacturing staff on new processes and equipment
The ideal candidate will bring:
- 3+ years of experience as an engineering technician in an automated/semi-automated high-volume manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in common workplace software and SQL queries
- Associate's Degree in a technical field (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Excellent English language skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies (a plus)
