Responsibilities For Mechanical Design Engineer, Electronic Control Unit
- Design parts, assemblies, and mechanisms using CAD software
- Build and test prototypes to validate designs
- Conduct simulations and analyze results
- Work with multidisciplinary teams on design concepts
- Prepare design documentation including drawings and specifications
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously
- Stay informed about industry trends and technologies
Requirements For Mechanical Design Engineer, Electronic Control Unit
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- 1-3 years of industry equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (CATIA preferred)
- Knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing processes
- Experience in prototyping mechanisms
- Working knowledge of FEA principles
- GD&T knowledge and tolerance analyses experience
- Creative problem solving skills
