Tesla's Power Electronics team is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their elite group of engineers working on cutting-edge power converters used across Tesla's entire product range, from vehicles and energy storage to solar and manufacturing. This role combines various aspects of mechanical engineering, including statics & dynamics, fluids & thermals, and mechanics & vibration.
The position offers a unique opportunity to work on highly multi-disciplinary projects requiring knowledge of electrical and magnetic physics, and material science. The role involves hands-on experience with prototype builds, engineering testing, and validation of products. You'll be responsible for designing and analyzing structural, thermal, environmental, and insulating aspects of converter components and their electrical connections.

The compensation package is competitive, ranging from $106,400 to $256,200 annually, plus additional cash and stock awards.
