You'll be responsible for establishing torque values, managing quality control, and implementing solutions for both in-house and tier-assembled joints. The position requires collaboration with the Joining/Fastener Laboratory and production teams to ensure optimal joint performance and quality.
The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience in fastener engineering, strong capabilities in 2D and 3D design (preferably Catia V5), and a deep understanding of torque, clamp load, and friction interactions. A BS/MS in Mechanical or Materials Engineering is required, along with experience in joint testing and GD&T.
