As a Mechatronics Engineering Technician, you'll be instrumental in the development of high-performance electromechanical rotary and linear actuator systems for bipedal robots.

Responsibilities For Mechatronics Engineering Technician, Actuators, Tesla Bot

  • Perform mechanical/electrical analysis of actuators and sub-assemblies
  • Perform failure analysis and provide root cause analysis
  • Assemble custom test setups for dyno testing/investigations
  • Support R&D with custom test configurations
  • Equipment setup of rotational components
  • Assemble and testing of early-stage prototype actuators
  • Use CAD to design fixtures for rapid prototyping
  • Take precise measurements with micrometers/bore gauges
  • Work directly with design team to provide rapid feedback
