Tesla is seeking a talented NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) Engineer to join their Semi truck development team in Fremont, California. This role is crucial in designing and developing Tesla's industry-leading electric vehicles, specifically focusing on the Semi program. Responsibilities For NVH Engineer, Semi

  • Conduct and analyze Semi NVH testing of vehicle components
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot Semi NVH issues through testing and analysis
  • Assess and analyze Semi NVH performance to optimize and enhance NVH attributes
  • Collaborate with Semi design and manufacturing teams
  • Perform component and full vehicle level testing

Requirements For NVH Engineer, Semi

Python
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Excellent understanding of acoustics and vibration principles
  • Experience with Modal Analysis, Transfer Path Analysis (TPA)
  • Experience with NVH test equipment
  • Knowledge of Siemens Simcenter Testlab software
  • Proficient with MATLAB or Python
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver independent root cause analysis
