Responsibilities For Process Engineer, General Assembly, Semi
- Travel internationally and support Factory Acceptance Testing (FATs)
- Develop expertise in manufacturing processes
- Analyze and optimize production processes to ensure safety while maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness
- Work closely with functional and electrical testing of products
- Diagnose issues during manufacturing process and drive corrective action
- Create and maintain Manufacturing Instructions and routings
- Develop and train technicians
- Support 24/7 production operations
Requirements For Process Engineer, General Assembly, Semi
- Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Science, or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience working in automotive manufacturing
- Demonstrated track record of Overall Equipment Effectiveness improvement
- Good understanding of Bill of Materials, Manufacturing Execution System
- Experience working with high voltage electronics, testing and assembly processes
- Data analysis experience using tools like MySQL, Python, R, JMP, Minitab
- Strong problem-solving skills and aptitude for learning systems quickly
- Exceptional capacity for managing simultaneous activities
- Strong communication skills: written and verbal
