Responsibilities For Process Engineer, General Assembly, Semi
- Travel internationally and support Factory Acceptance Testing (FATs)
- Develop expertise in manufacturing processes and understand process capabilities
- Analyze and optimize production processes to ensure safety while maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Work with functional and electrical testing of products
- Diagnose manufacturing issues and drive corrective actions
- Create and maintain Manufacturing Instructions and processes
- Support 24/7 production operations
Requirements For Process Engineer, General Assembly, Semi
- Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Science, or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience working in automotive manufacturing
- Track record of Overall Equipment Effectiveness improvement activities
- Understanding of Bill of Materials, Manufacturing Execution System
- Experience with high voltage electronics, testing and assembly processes
- Data analysis experience using MySQL, Python, R, JMP, Minitab
- Strong problem-solving skills and structured problem-solving techniques
- Strong communication skills: written and verbal
