Responsibilities For Product Engineer, Charging

  • Develop and run data queries on fleet logs for root cause analysis
  • Work with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to drive design and manufacturing changes
  • Define data signatures to identify failures and integrate into automated detection algorithms
  • Provide support on escalated customer cases to minimize system downtime
  • Perform root cause analysis on hardware failures, firmware bugs, and system integration
  • Perform validation and sign-off for new products and features

Requirements For Product Engineer, Charging

Python
  • Degree in Engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent experience
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and intuition for firmware/software-enabled mechatronic systems
  • Experience with electric vehicle charging hardware and protocols/standards
  • Experience debugging complex electrical systems
  • Strong data analysis skills with Python experience
  • Excellent oral, written communication and collaborative skills
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple parallel tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Less than 10% work travel required
