Responsibilities For Product Support Engineer, Product Liability

  • Investigate and respond to field incidents involving Tesla vehicles
  • Generate incident reports detailing the operation and expected performance of vehicle systems
  • Provide guidance to Service Centers in responding to customer concerns
  • Develop in-depth understanding of all vehicle systems and their integration
  • Coordinate with design teams to perform root cause analysis

Requirements For Product Support Engineer, Product Liability

  • Experience in Mechanical, Chemical, Mechatronics, Automotive engineering or equivalent
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with in-vehicle communication systems (CAN, Ethernet or LIN) preferred
  • Familiarity with Driver Assistance System features preferred
  • Strong people skills and positive 'can do' attitude
