This role involves managing technical software release workflows, tracking progress, handling large branch merges, managing risks, and implementing process improvements. The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter and problem solver who can efficiently resolve inefficiencies in the release process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end technical software release workflows through collaboration with various teams
- Tracking progress toward release signoff completion and managing branch creation and merging
- Handling large branch merges, often requiring git conflict resolutions
- Managing risks related to release scope, schedule, and quality
- Maintaining a comprehensive release log
- Implementing process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A strong desire to move fast and independently solve problems
- Proven track record of being a self-starter with exceptional leadership qualities
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience with project management software like JIRA
- Proficiency with git

- Maintain a release log with key information
- Implement process improvements to reduce workflow inefficiencies

- Proven track record of being a self-starter with exceptional leadership qualities
