Responsibilities For Sales Engineer, Megapack

  • Work with prospective customers to identify best commercial and technical fit for Tesla's battery systems
  • Provide sales teams with technical & financial modelling support
  • Lead discussions with customers and internal teams for preliminary design
  • Negotiate technical contracts and performance guarantees
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders
  • Understand regional energy markets and customer needs
  • Participate in tariffs and market mechanisms proceedings
  • Develop sales tools and support materials
  • Mentor Associate Sales or Sales Engineers

Requirements For Sales Engineer, Megapack

  • 3+ years work experience in the energy industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience working on energy solutions for utilities, IPPs and C&I customers
  • Ability to review, negotiate and define contracts
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Ability to track changing market conditions
