Responsibilities For Silicon Bringup Regression Engineer
- Develop and execute regression tests for silicon products (CPUs, GPUs, and SoCs)
- Collaborate with design and validation teams for debugging and quality assurance
- Create and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and tools
- Analyze test results and provide process improvement recommendations
- Work with software teams on firmware compatibility
- Participate in silicon bringup activities
- Collaborate with external partners for product compatibility
- Maintain documentation of test plans and procedures
Requirements For Silicon Bringup Regression Engineer
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in silicon bringup, validation, or testing
- Strong understanding of computer architecture, digital logic, and microprocessors
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (Python, Perl, C++)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with version control systems (Git or SVN)
- Familiarity with Linux
