Responsibilities For Silicon Bringup Regression Engineer

  • Develop and execute regression tests for silicon products (CPUs, GPUs, and SoCs)
  • Collaborate with design and validation teams for debugging and quality assurance
  • Create and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and tools
  • Analyze test results and provide process improvement recommendations
  • Work with software teams for software/firmware compatibility
  • Participate in silicon bringup activities
  • Collaborate with external partners for product compatibility
  • Maintain documentation of test plans, results, and procedures

Requirements For Silicon Bringup Regression Engineer

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in silicon bringup, validation, or testing
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture, digital logic, and microprocessors
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
  • Experience with Python, Perl, and C++
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with version control systems (Git/SVN)
  • Familiarity with Linux
