- Develop metrology algorithms to automate cell CT image analysis
- Lead cell CT image analysis to ensure high confidence of cell jelly roll life requirements
- Collaborate on failure analysis to understand the root cause and drive resolution of jelly roll fallouts
Requirements For Software Engineer, Image Processing, Cell Qualification
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proficiency on Python and SQL
- Familiarity with deep learning and classic image feature extraction
- Understanding of battery cell failure modes and electrochemistry is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
