Description For Software Product Manager, Design Technology

Tesla's Design Technology Platform team is seeking a Software Product Manager to lead the development of their PLM/CAD software platform. This role focuses on creating automated solutions for software deployment, testing, and code promotion, while ensuring high performance and reliability for design engineers. The position offers an opportunity to work with veteran Site Reliability and DevOps engineers, managing critical infrastructure that enables Tesla's product development.

The role demands a strategic mind who can bridge technical expertise with business objectives, working directly with engineering teams to deliver solutions that streamline the design process for Tesla's innovative products. You'll be responsible for defining metrics, prioritizing development efforts, and ensuring the platform meets the demanding needs of Tesla's engineering teams.

Based in either Austin, TX or Palo Alto, CA, this position offers competitive compensation ranging from $108,000 to $228,000 annually, plus additional benefits including comprehensive healthcare, 401(k) matching, and stock options.
