Responsibilities For Software Validation Engineer, Integration, AI Platforms
- Work with software developers and hardware designers to understand sensors, actuators, telemetry, and sub-systems
- Develop and execute comprehensive system and sub-system level test specifications and test plans
- Identify risks to interfaces and mechanisms for redundancy and fail-operational behaviors
- Build tools and methods to execute tests and evaluate results on HIL and SIL environments
- Develop prototype test setups to integrate new subsystems
- Investigate field issues through data analysis and issue reproduction
- Navigate production source code to identify and debug issues
- Build metrics for functional safety validation according to industry standards
Requirements For Software Validation Engineer, Integration, AI Platforms
- Practical experience developing for test frameworks in Python and debugging production C++ codebases
- Experience with embedded systems software and hardware design concepts
- Experience with automotive communication standards such as CAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP
