Responsibilities For Software Validation Engineer, Thermal Systems

  • Work with hardware and software teams to maintain expert understanding of thermal systems
  • Develop and execute comprehensive system and sub-system level test specifications
  • Invent methods and build tools to execute tests and evaluate results
  • Develop prototype test setups using software driven test automation
  • Investigate field issues through data analysis and issue reproduction
  • Debug issues and propose robust solutions
  • Improve safety, performance, and customer satisfaction

Requirements For Software Validation Engineer, Thermal Systems

Python
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Systems Engineering
  • Hands-on technical experience debugging complex systems
  • Strong fundamentals in heat-transfer and thermodynamics
  • Experience with CAN and Vector tools
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages
  • Experience with C and/or C++ for embedded systems
  • Minimum 2 years' experience
