  • Interface with downstream customers, pack, vehicle, and field teams
  • Own containment process and handle potential escapes
  • Investigate and collect data on quality improvement opportunities
  • Build understanding of technical challenges using collected data
  • Own KPIs for fleet performance across cell manufacturing
  • Participate in warranty modeling
  • Conduct detailed risk assessments
  • Interface with reliability engineering teams

Requirements For Sr. Customer & Field Quality Engineer, Cell Manufacturing Global Quality

Python
  • Degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in quality, reliability, or relevant field
  • Experience with lithium-ion cells preferred
  • Ability to analyze large data sets
  • Experience with Six Sigma quality problem solving methods
  • Knowledge of sampling plans and statistical analysis
  • Strong data analytical skills using SQL, Python, Tableau, MATLAB, JMP
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure
