The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $80,000 to $174,000 annually, plus additional benefits including stock awards.

The role requires a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience. Responsibilities For Sr. Electrical Test Engineer, Abuse Test & Engineering, Semi
- Engage electronics and battery pack teams to understand and prioritize test needs
- Create and execute test plans for FET shoot-through, overvoltage, overcurrent, arc flash, electrical joints failure, and conductive fluid exposure
- Develop sub-pack-scale tests to study novel failure modes
- Develop new test equipment as needed
- Anticipate and mitigate test execution hazards
- Share results and maintain documentation
- Recreate field incidents and suggest countermeasures
Requirements For Sr. Electrical Test Engineer, Abuse Test & Engineering, Semi
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Applied Physics Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in physically applied engineering
- Must be hands-on (wiring, prototyping, troubleshooting, instrumentation)
- Experience working in cross-functional groups and leading technicians
- Ability to plan concurrent activities in fast-paced environment
- Up to 20% travel
- Bonus: experience with CAN bus, battery management systems, Python, National Instruments data acquisition hardware / LabVIEW, CAD, oscilloscopes
