You'll work with cross-functional teams to define hardware and software requirements for Industrial Energy environments, lead solution development, and ensure optimal network reliability and performance.

Responsibilities For Sr. Energy Network Application Engineer
- Write functional requirements/specifications documents, test procedures, and product documentation for network-related features
- Lead network product development and work cross functionally with teams
- Align Tesla Energy's network offering with regulatory and contractual requirements
- Develop tools and processes for network commissioning, self-test, monitoring, and performance diagnostics
- Coordinate network equipment hardware testing
- Perform network modeling, failure mode analysis, and future product planning
- Support productization and commercialization of Tesla Energy's networking solutions
Requirements For Sr. Energy Network Application Engineer
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Expertise in network products and systems including switches, routers, firewalls
- Experience in developing industrial networking solutions
- Strong understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP protocols
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols
- Experience in software development including Python, Golang, RUST, C/C++
- Strong understanding of virtualization platforms
