Responsibilities For Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer, Automated Test Equipment, Semi

  • Architect automated test equipment, produce detailed-level CAD models, pneumatic diagrams, and verify designs
  • Conceptual equipment development and balance product specifications, process requirements, and costs
  • Identify and implement performance, robustness, and ease of assembly improvements
  • Analyze system constraints and propose innovative solutions
  • Support building, debugging, validation and equipment duplication efforts
  • Conduct detailed testing and validation of installed machinery
  • Perform on-site and off-site acceptance testing (SAT/FAT) of test equipment

Requirements For Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer, Automated Test Equipment, Semi

Python
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience as Mechanical/Mechatronics/Automation Engineer
  • Experience transitioning products and processes from prototype to production
  • Knowledge in solid mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, dynamics, material selection
  • Exposure to sensors, microcontrollers, robots, relays
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Versed in SolidWorks, PDM, and Ansys, or similar CAD/CAE software
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
