Responsibilities For Sr. NVH CAE Engineer

  • Building FE models for analysis and optimization of revolutionary vehicle architectures
  • Performing static/torsional stiffness, modal, point mobility, vibration/acoustic transfer function analyses
  • Performing full vehicle NVH analysis
  • Performing CAE transfer path analysis
  • Performing drive unit airborne and structure-borne noise analyses
  • Performing thermal system NVH analysis
  • Supporting engineering teams with design direction
  • Performing analysis for manufacturing, assembly and service processes feasibility
  • Providing input in component specification and DFMEA

Requirements For Sr. NVH CAE Engineer

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience using Finite Element Analysis related to NVH
  • Expert applied skill in OptiStruct (NASTRAN) or other FEM codes for NVH CAE
  • Strong experience with HyperWorks (HyperMesh and HyperView) or ANSA
  • Excellent understanding of acoustic and vibration principles
  • Strong experience with vehicle NVH CAE
  • Strong communication skills
  • Independent worker, excellent team player
