Responsibilities For Sr. NVH CAE Engineer
- Building FE models for analysis and optimization of revolutionary vehicle architectures
- Performing static/torsional stiffness, modal, point mobility, vibration/acoustic transfer function analyses
- Performing full vehicle NVH analysis
- Performing CAE transfer path analysis
- Performing drive unit airborne and structure-borne noise analyses
- Performing thermal system NVH analysis
- Supporting engineering teams with design direction
- Performing analysis for manufacturing, assembly and service processes feasibility
- Providing input in component specification and DFMEA
Requirements For Sr. NVH CAE Engineer
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years experience using Finite Element Analysis related to NVH
- Expert applied skill in OptiStruct (NASTRAN) or other FEM codes for NVH CAE
- Strong experience with HyperWorks (HyperMesh and HyperView) or ANSA
- Excellent understanding of acoustic and vibration principles
- Strong experience with vehicle NVH CAE
- Strong communication skills
- Independent worker, excellent team player
