Sr. Power Systems Engineer

Tesla is seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer to join their team in building the future of clean and sustainable energy. This role focuses on designing, modeling, and integrating Tesla's solar-battery-charging ecosystem. The position involves working with utilities, independent power providers, and system operators to scale Tesla's technology on the grid.

The role requires expertise in power systems modeling tools and experience with inverter-based generation systems. You'll be responsible for developing detailed models of Tesla's technology and controls strategies for both microgrids and larger grid applications. This diverse position spans electrical engineering, controls, firmware design, and grid operations.

As a Senior Power Systems Engineer, you'll interface with multiple teams, including product design, firmware/software, and business development. You'll influence system architecture through power systems requirements and represent Tesla in technical discussions with customers.
